News and Updates
January 2017 Meeting
Our January club meeting included awards, celebrations and we were able to hear from multiple members why they became a Rotarian and why they donate to the RI Foundation.
Nita Sell received the Rotary International's Major Donor award.  District Gov. Elect Tom Carroll was at the meeting to present the award to Nita.  Following the presentation Nita was asked why she donates to the RI Foundation, you can view video from her response on our Facebook page.  Thank you Alice McDaniel for capturing Nita's reply.
Our member spotlight was Carolyn Linden. She told us a little about herself, her involvement with Roteract and her desire to service in the community which lead her to Rotary.
There was also excitement as Helen and Nita were able to suprise President Jennifer with a Paul Harris award for all of her hard work and dedication in creating the new Passport Club.
