We'll also have a potluck picnic on the farm after our shift. All ages are welcome, so feel free to bring family/friends! Up to 25 people can be accommodated. Click here to sign up.
Outgoing Party - President Stephanie

As my Rotary year comes to a close I am so thankful for the memories we have made in our second year of being the Passport Club. I appreciate all our members support and camaraderie.

To go out with some fun I hope everyone can join me for the "outgoing party!".  As I started my year stating that Rotary family is important to me I am holding true to that with this last shin dig with a family friendly bowling night.

When: June 27th, 2018 (our social meeting day)
Time:  6:00 - 8:00pm
Cost: $15.00 pp to bowl. Include shoes. Payable to the club.
Come hang out, bowl if you wish, eat, drink and have fun. All are welcome.
-President Stephanie

June is Fellowships Month in Rotary
Rotary Fellowships are international groups that share a common passion. Being part of a fellowship is a fun way to make friends around the world, explore a hobby or profession, and enhance your Rotary experience.  Click here to learn more about RI Fellowships and to see a full list of current fellowships.
One fellowship is the International Fellowship of Rotarian Musicians (IFRM).  The IFRM's mission statement is "is to promote Rotary fellowship by encouraging clubs to sing,to organize musical activities for performance at all levels of Rotary functions, and to support community music organizations and school music programs." The IFRM allows Rotarians to connect and engage with one another and provide service to those in need around the world through their passion for music.
One way that anyone can help support the IFRM is through the donation of needed items such as:
  • Sheet music, musical scores, recorded music (CDs and tapes)
  • New and/or used musical instruments, especially wind instruments, guitars, and drum sets
If you have any sheet music that you would like to donate, contact Karyn Siegrist, she will be collecting the donated sheet music and mailing it to the IFRM.

Check out our Facebook page though out the month of June as we highlight other Rotary Fellowships.

Visitors from Nova Scotia
A huge thank you to our Nova Scotia friends for their Friendship Exchange presentation during our meeting on May 23rd.  It was great to hear about what the clubs in their district are doing and learn
more about how the exchange works.
