Join us during our meeting on May 23rd as we hear from both inbound and outbound Rotary International's Friendship Exchange participant and have the opportunity to learn more about the program.  During this Rotary year our district paired with District 780 , located in the Nova Scotia, Canada.  In October 2017 twelve members of District 5020 spent three weeks visiting District 780 and their members are now here visiting ours.  A few of their members will talk to us about themselves, their District and their home.   This will be a great informal chance to talk with inbound and outbound couples that have participated in the exchanges and find out more about the program.

Friendship Exchange participants travel as individuals, couples, families, or groups, and may include Rotary members and nonmembers. Prospective exchange teams communicate in advance to decide on the purpose, format, timing, logistics, and duration of each visit.

Exchanges offer unique chances for cultural immersion and interchange. They might include opportunities for professionals, including young professionals, to build global understanding and boost vocational and leadership skills. They can provide cultural experiences, vocational activities, fellowship, and much more.

The meeting will be at Johnny's Dock - 1900 E D St, Tacoma, WA 98421 at 6PM

(YES, JOHNNY'S IS OPEN.  There was a change in ownership, however they are not closed. )
