News and Updates
Social Meeting Feb 22nd

We hope you are able to join us for our monthly social meeting, there will be a lot to offer. 

We will be having a build session for our Little Free Libraries, celebrating Rotary's 112th Anniversary (which is February 23rd) and we will have our final collection of outdoor games, activities, and sporting goods for Lindquist Dental Clinic for Children (LDCC)

This meeting will be at the offices of York Enterprise on S. 13th and Union.  For those that will be participating in the build and assembly, please dress appropriately as we will be working with paints, glue, and tools.  There is parking next to the building and in the parking lost across 13th.  Food and beverages will be provided by Schramm Marketing

Thank you York Enterprises for the space and providing the tools and guidance for the assembly of our LFL.   Thank you to everyone involved for helping make this happen. 

During this meeting we will also be collecting outdoor games, activities, and sporting goods for Lindquist Dental Clinic for Children (LDCC).  The items collected will be utilized as prizes for new and current patients as an incentive to keep their appointment.

Supporting Children's Dental Health Month
February is Children's Dental Health Month.  During our meetings in the month of February we will be collecting outdoor games, activities, and sporting goods for Lindquist Dental Clinic for Children (LDCC).  The items collected will be utilized as prizes for new and current patients as an incentive to keep their appointment.  Contact Karyn Siegirst if you have any questions
 
 
LDCC is a private non-for-profit dental clinic providing  accessible, compassionate, and effective dental care to Puget Sound children in need, regardless of ability to pay.

  • FEBRUARY
    • In honor of Children's Dental Health Month we will be supporting Lindquist Denal Clinic for Children's monthly incentive for children to make and keep their appointments.  We will be collecting games and outdoor game, activities, and sporting goods which will be bundled into gift baskets for a monthly prize.
    • Literacy Project: Little Free Library build day during social meeting on February 22nd

    • Back to School drive for HopeSparks Closet.  Volunteers to help assemble backpacks and school supplies.  Dates TBD
Newest Assistant Governor - Congratulations President Jennifer
On January 28th the District Council approved a proposal which will realign the areas in our district and create a new Area effective July 1, 2017.    Governor-Elect Tom Carroll has appointed Pierce County Passport Club's Jennifer Durham as the AG for this new Area.
CONGRATULATIONS Jennifer!!!

District Training and Conference
 
Join us for the 2017 District Training and Conference
This year we have combined our District Training and District Conference events into one combined event. You will have the opportunity to attend the training sessions you are most interested in, be inspired by an array of top-notch speakers, and meet and share with fellow Rotarians from around the district. All this in a beautiful, state of the art facility. We hope you will join us as we celebrate Rotary and get ready for the year ahead!
